Job Summary
Seeking a dynamic and motivated Benefits Consultant to join a team.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $70,000 - $100,000 annually, based on experience. Higher compensation available for exceptional candidates.
Responsibilities
- Obtain Life & Health (L&H) license if not already licensed.
- Participate in training programs to gain technical knowledge and understand the business.
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads.
- Identify, qualify, and requalify leads to generate new business opportunities.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with potential clients.
- Collaborate with leadership for guidance and mentorship during the onboarding period.
- Utilize Salesforce to manage client relationships and track progress.
- Travel locally as needed to meet with clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: 3-5 years of professional experience, preferably in sales or a related field.
- Education: Demonstrated ability to balance work and education is a plus.
- Licenses: Life & Health (L&H) license preferred; must be willing to obtain if not already licensed.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Salesforce or similar CRM software.
- Soft Skills:
- Strong presence and confidence.
- Willingness to learn and adapt.
- Flexibility and resilience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and proactively generate leads.
- Preferred Background: Experience with companies such as Enterprise, ADP, or payroll firms is highly desirable.
