Group Benefits Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Group Benefits Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role is pivotal in managing group benefits accounts, ensuring client satisfaction, and supporting the sales team in delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in benefits account management, a deep understanding of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), and proficiency in Excel.
Responsibilities
- Manage group benefits accounts of all sizes, ensuring seamless service delivery.
- Conduct open enrollments and partner with sales executives to meet client needs.
- Handle all aspects of account servicing, from start to finish.
- Work directly with carriers to negotiate renewals and maintain competitive offerings.
- Utilize Employee Navigator software to manage client accounts effectively.
- Maintain compliance with ACA regulations and provide expert guidance to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licensure: Life & Health (L&H) license is required.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years in benefits account management within an agency setting.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with Employee Navigator software.
- Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).
