Job Summary

Seeking a motivated, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Inside Sales Representative to join the Personal Lines division. This role involves providing exceptional service to clients, identifying sales opportunities, and fostering strong relationships to achieve and exceed sales goals. The ideal candidate is driven to succeed in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with potential and existing clients within the Personal Lines segment to understand their needs and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
  • Manage inbound and outbound communications to deliver personalized service and convert leads into sales opportunities.
  • Educate customers on the features, benefits, and advantages of various insurance products and coverage options.
  • Perform policy reviews to ensure proper coverage, offer proactive recommendations, and identify cross-selling opportunities.
  • Provide accurate and timely quotes to clients and follow up consistently to close sales.
  • Collaborate with underwriting and service teams to ensure a seamless client experience from application to policy issuance.
  • Maintain detailed client records and activity logs in the CRM system, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales targets while maintaining a client-focused approach.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Education & Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
    • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, customer service, or insurance (personal lines experience is a plus).
  • Skills:

    • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales objectives.
    • Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills; ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
    • Proficiency in CRM software and other tools for managing sales pipelines and client interactions.
    • Professional demeanor and ability to handle confidential customer information with discretion.
  • Licensing (if required by location):

    • Current and active Property & Casualty Insurance License or willingness to obtain within a specified timeframe.
