Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM)
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager (CLAM) to join a team. This role involves managing a generalist book of business with mid-market accounts, providing end-to-end account management services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines insurance, advanced knowledge of middle-market accounts, and a commitment to delivering exceptional client service.
Compensation Package
- Salary: Competitive, based on experience (up to $100,000 for highly qualified candidates)
- 401(k): Not offered
Responsibilities
- Manage a $4MM book of business, consisting of mid-market accounts with premiums ranging from $100,000 to $500,000.
- Provide A-Z account management, including quoting new and renewal business.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
- Maintain and update client records using Applied EPIC software (preferred).
- Stay informed about industry trends and regulatory changes to provide clients with the best possible advice and solutions.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: 7-10 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, specifically managing middle-market accounts.
- Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Applied EPIC software is preferred.
- Work Environment: This is a fully onsite role with no travel required.
- Other Skills: Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
