Manager, Actuarial Support Analyst

Job Summary

Seeking an experienced Manager, Actuarial Support Analyst to lead a team supporting rate development, regulatory filings, and cross-functional analytics initiatives within a growing property and casualty insurance organization. This role is ideal for a professional with a background in actuarial support, product development, or insurance operations who enjoys leading teams, managing projects, and collaborating across departments to drive successful implementation and execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate a team of actuarial support analysts supporting product and actuarial functions.
  • Oversee rate table development, regulatory filings, and supporting documentation.
  • Partner with product, actuarial, and technology teams to translate business requirements into actionable solutions.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects and ensure timely, accurate delivery of key initiatives.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and performance management for team members.
  • Support the implementation and maintenance of insurance products and rating structures.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal standards.
  • Facilitate effective communication among cross-functional teams to support business objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in insurance, actuarial support, product management, or product development.
  • Strong understanding of insurance rate development and product structures.
  • Experience collaborating across product, actuarial, and technology teams.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
  • Progress toward actuarial credentialing is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $100,000 - $145,000 annually.
  • Bonus opportunity.
