Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. This role involves managing a mid-market book of business, focusing on standard personal lines such as Home, Auto, and Umbrella insurance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in brokerage, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional client service. This position offers the flexibility to work either remotely or in a hybrid capacity.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Manage a $4 million premium book of business, focusing on mid-market accounts.
  • Service clients by handling renewals, rounding accounts, and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Collaborate with the back-office team for Certificates of Insurance (COI) and policy changes.
  • Quote new and renewal business, with a primary focus on renewals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, including Safeco, Travelers, and Mercury.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with clients and team members.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a brokerage environment, specializing in personal lines.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is required.
  • Soft Skills: Strong interpersonal skills, team-oriented mindset, excellent communication, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Work Environment: Hybrid or fully remote options available. Candidates must be based in Northern California.
