Personal Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to join the well-established and family-oriented insurance agency. This role is integral to maintaining our commitment to exceptional client service and retention. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, a proven ability to work independently, and a passion for fostering positive client relationships.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $54,000 - $66,000 annually + rentention bonuses and commission

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of standard personal lines accounts, including home, auto, and umbrella policies
  • Focus on client retention through exceptional customer service
  • Handle daily CSR tasks such as processing endorsements, adding vehicles, and assisting walk-in clients
  • Quote new and renewal business as needed
  • Utilize agency management software (IMS4 and PL Rater) to maintain accurate client records
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless operations and client satisfaction

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License is required
  • Experience:
    • 3-5 years of experience in personal lines insurance (non-captive preferred)
    • Strong preference for candidates with experience in Insurance
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in PL Rater and IMS4 preferred
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong multitasking abilities
    • Excellent work ethic and ability to work independently
    • Positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset
    • Strong tenure in previous roles
