Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance accounts by providing proactive and responsive service to clients.
- Build and nurture strong client relationships by understanding their specific insurance needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Assist clients with policy changes, claims inquiries, billing questions, and coverage reviews with a high level of professionalism and accuracy.
- Partner with insurance carriers to ensure policies are issued and maintained effectively.
- Proactively identify opportunities for coverage adjustments or upgrades and present relevant options to clients.
- Stay up-to-date on industry changes, company products, and regulatory requirements to provide accurate and relevant advice to clients.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve issues and ensure seamless client experiences.
- Prepare and present insurance proposals for new clients or renewals with a focus on education and transparency.
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation for all client interactions and account activities.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in personal lines insurance or account management roles.
- A valid Property and Casualty Insurance License is required (or willingness to obtain).
- Strong knowledge of personal insurance products, including auto, home, rental, and umbrella policies.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and active listening skills.
- Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, and operate in a fast-paced environment with high attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using insurance software tools, CRM systems, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Client-focused mindset with the ability to resolve conflicts and manage challenges effectively and empathetically.
