Job Title: Personal Lines Account Manager

 

Job Summary:
An established, independent insurance agency is seeking an experienced Personal Lines Account Manager to oversee a mixed book of standard and private client accounts. This role involves full-service account management, maintaining strong relationships with clients and carriers, and occasionally assisting with new business efforts. The position offers a collaborative, professional environment with a focus on personalized service and long-term client relationships.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a personal lines book valued at approximately $500K–$600K in premium.
  • Provide full account servicing (A–Z, excluding billing) for both standard and private client accounts.
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, renewals, and certificates.
  • Deliver high-touch client service tailored to varying coverage needs.
  • Accurately document activities and maintain records in AMS360.
  • Assist with quoting and onboarding of new business as needed.
  • Build and maintain strong client and carrier relationships.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure exceptional service delivery.

 

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • 2+ years of personal lines account management experience.
  • Experience working with both standard and private client accounts.
  • AMS360 experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with multiple carriers.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Active Property & Casualty license required.

 

Compensation Package:

  • Compensation: $65K–$80K (based on experience).
