Overview

Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Personal Insurance Account Manager to join their dynamic team. This is a hybrid role that allows for a combination of remote and in-office work, providing a flexible work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage client accounts and provide exceptional customer service for personal insurance lines
  • Communicate with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
  • Review policy coverage and advise clients on potential gaps or additional coverage options
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals in a timely and accurate manner
  • Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms and secure the best coverage for clients
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to ensure client retention and satisfaction
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in the insurance market
  • Handle client inquiries and claims, providing support and guidance throughout the process

Qualifications

  • 3+ years (Retail Insurance Agency) of proven experience as an Account Manager in personal insurance, with a strong understanding of standard personal lines
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • Proficient in insurance software and Microsoft Office suite
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Property & Casualty License

Day-to-day

  • Engage with clients through various communication channels to handle inquiries and provide support
  • Review and analyze client policies to identify opportunities for additional coverage or potential risks
  • Coordinate with carriers and underwriters to negotiate terms and secure the best coverage for clients
  • Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals with a high level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and changes in the insurance market to provide informed advice to clients

Compensation

  • Compensation: Between $60,000 – $75,000+ (based on experience).
