Personal Lines Account Manager / Client Concierge

 

Job Summary
Manage a portfolio of personal lines insurance clients by delivering exceptional service and fostering long-term loyalty. Serve as the primary point of contact for policy inquiries and changes, while also providing concierge-level administrative support to ensure a seamless client experience.

 

Responsibilities

  • Greet and assist visitors and callers with professionalism and urgency
  • Answer, screen and direct incoming calls; maintain a courteous telephone presence
  • Operate and troubleshoot office equipment (scanner, copier, fax, postage machine)
  • Process and distribute incoming mail; assist with typing, mailing and data-entry projects
  • Maintain a tidy, well-organized reception and office area
  • Prepare and distribute binders, certificates, ID cards, endorsements, policies and account summaries
  • Rate, quote and submit change requests via carrier websites and agency management systems
  • Generate invoices and finance agreements; track and report on account balances and expirations
  • Educate clients on coverage details, exclusions and policy updates
  • Document all client interactions, correspondence and policy changes in electronic files
  • Adhere to agency procedures and E&O guidelines
  • Support special projects and provide technical assistance to advisors as needed

 

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active Pennsylvania P&C (Property & Casualty) insurance license
  • Proven experience in a client-facing insurance role (virtual and in-person)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and agency management systems
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Professional appearance and demeanor; high level of integrity and work ethic
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information appropriately
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree and industry designations preferred
