Customer Service Representative (CSR) / Licensed Insurance CSR

Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join a team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) with Sales Ability or a Licensed Insurance CSR. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal lines insurance, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional service while identifying opportunities for cross-selling and new business development.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $40,000–$45,000 annually + commissions
  • Competitive benefits package, paid time off, professional development opportunities, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional service to Personal Lines and Small Commercial accounts.
  • Handle inbound calls, walk-ins, and referrals with professionalism and efficiency.
  • Quote and service insurance policies for clients.
  • Cross-sell and write new business to meet sales goals.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and retention.
  • Collaborate with team members to support overall business objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations:
    • Property & Casualty (P&C) License required or preferred (willing to sponsor the right candidate).
    • Life & Health License is a plus.
    • Bilingual candidates are highly desirable.
  • Experience:
    • Personal Lines insurance experience is required.
    • Strong CSR/service background preferred over a pure producer background.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in Applied Epic software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Customer service mindset.
    • Strong sales ability and cross-selling skills.
    • Team-oriented attitude.
    • Excellent relationship-building and networking abilities.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
