Personal or Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Personal or Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a small, community-oriented agency. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with clients in a supportive and personalized environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $45,000 - $72,000 (depending on experience) + commission & bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, ensuring their insurance needs are met with professionalism and care.
  • Manage and service Personal Lines or Commercial Lines accounts, with the opportunity to learn and transition between the two.
  • Utilize agency management software to maintain accurate client records and process transactions.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, carriers, and team members to resolve inquiries and provide solutions.
  • Work independently and efficiently in a small team environment, contributing to the agency's mission of personalized, community-focused service.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Familiarity with TAM software is preferred; willingness to learn Epic software is required.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Detail-oriented and self-motivated.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • A team player who thrives in a small, collaborative environment.
