Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Personal Lines Account Manager (PLAM) to join our team. As a PLAM, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of standard personal lines accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and promoting insurance products to meet the specific needs of our clients.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention
• Analyze clients' insurance needs and recommend appropriate products and coverage options
• Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals in a timely and accurate manner
• Collaborate with underwriters to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing for new and renewal business
• Stay updated with industry trends and insurance products to provide valuable advice to clients
• Act as a trusted advisor, offering support and guidance to clients during claims processes
• Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities to enhance clients' insurance portfolios
• Adhere to all relevant regulations and compliance standards in the insurance industry

Qualifications

• Proven work experience as an Account Manager in the insurance industry
• Solid understanding of personal lines insurance products and coverage options
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
• Proficient in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office applications
• A valid insurance license and relevant certifications (e.g., CIP, CRM) will be an asset

Day-to-day

As a PLAM, you will spend your days interacting with clients to address their insurance needs, analyzing policies, negotiating with underwriters, and staying informed about the latest industry trends. Additionally, you will collaborate with internal teams and support clients through claims processes, ensuring that their insurance portfolios provide comprehensive coverage and peace of mind.
