Our client, a well-established specialty insurance organization with a strong presence in the property & casualty market, is seeking a FULLY REMOTE Product Manager to join their Regulatory Compliance team.
The Product Manager will support the development, enhancement, and maintenance of commercial insurance products. This role partners cross-functionally with underwriting, compliance, legal, actuarial, and operational teams to help bring products to market efficiently and ensure ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements.
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE:
- 5+ years of experience in drafting language for commercial insurance forms. Experience with drafting wording for liability insurance products
- 5+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing and summarizing insurance laws and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft wording for commercial insurance forms, including policies, coverage parts, endorsements, state amendatories, and applications.
- Coordinate product development initiatives and manage timelines across multiple departments.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to revise policy forms and rating plans .
- Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and product comparisons.
- Prepare and submit form, rate, rule filings to the State Departments of Insurance and draft responses to state objections
- Monitor industry updates, regulatory changes, and bureau circulars to support product compliance and implementation.
- Analyze insurance laws, rules and regulations to ensure commercial insurance products comply with all applicable state and federal requirements
- Assist with the rollout and maintenance of policy forms, rates, and related systems updates.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Risk Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in drafting language for commercial insurance forms. Experience with drafting wording for liability insurance products REQUIRED. Aviation Liability a plus.
- 5+ years of experience in reviewing, analyzing and summarizing insurance laws and regulations.
- Experience in preparing and submitting form, rate, rule filings to the State Departments of Insurance.
- Experience reviewing and analyzing ISO and NCCI circular bulletins .
- Prior experience working with insurance related applications such as SERFF, statefilings.com, ISO, NCCI, and Reference Connect is a plus .
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base salary: $130K–$150K with some flexibility for the right candidate
- Medical/Dental/Vision – effective 1st day of the following month
