Location: Mount Laurel, NJ
Schedule: Full-Time | Hybrid

About the Role

A well-established, growth-oriented insurance organization is seeking a Quoting Specialist to support its Personal Lines team. This role partners closely with Account Representatives to prepare accurate, timely insurance quotes and proposals for consumer clients across multiple lines of coverage. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, collaborative, and thrives in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Partner with Account Representatives to prepare quotes and proposals for personal lines clients

  • Review completed fact-finders and accurately enter data into rating software

  • Evaluate coverage options and recommend appropriate policy placement based on customer needs

  • Respond to quote change requests and follow-up questions during the quoting process

  • Assess risk across multiple carriers and products to determine best-fit solutions

  • Quote auto, home, renters, condo, umbrella, motorcycle, boat, RV, and additional lines as needed

  • Work in a time-sensitive environment with defined turnaround expectations

  • Collaborate closely with internal teams to deliver accurate and efficient proposals

  • Assist with special projects and additional responsibilities as assigned


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant insurance industry experience preferred

  • Property & Casualty personal lines quoting experience preferred

  • Ability to obtain Property & Casualty license within 90 days of hire

  • Strong math skills with excellent attention to detail

  • Highly organized with strong follow-through and time management skills

  • Comfortable working with multiple systems and learning new technology

  • Adaptable, proactive, and motivated mindset

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently and collaboratively


Technology & Systems

  • Agency Management System experience preferred (AMS360)

  • CRM / prospect management platform experience preferred


Schedule & Flexibility

  • Full-time position with some flexibility in scheduling
