Rapid Response & Training Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Rapid Response & Training Manager to lead and launch a new division within a organization. This role is pivotal in shaping the future of a claims operations by managing and training a team of new hires, many of whom may have little to no prior claims experience. The focus will be on efficiently handling and closing quick, low-complexity claims, such as auto physical damage (APD) cases, including windshield cracks and minor fender benders.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $125,000 - $135,000 (no bonus)
  • Health Benefits: Multiple options available, including a high-deductible plan with 100% company-paid premiums for individuals and families

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the launch of a new claims division, ensuring operational excellence and team alignment with company goals.
  • Oversee and mentor a team of new hires, providing comprehensive training to develop their skills in claims handling.
  • Design and implement training programs tailored to the needs of employees with varying levels of experience.
  • Manage the processing of low-complexity claims (e.g., APD claims under $25,000) to ensure timely and accurate resolution.
  • Develop and maintain best practices for rapid response and claims management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of the new division into existing operations.
  • Monitor team performance and provide ongoing feedback and support to drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience in claims management, with a strong understanding of auto physical damage (APD) claims.
  • Demonstrated expertise in training and mentoring teams, particularly those with limited industry experience.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with team members and stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with a schedule of 3 days onsite one week and 2 days onsite the next.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred but not required.
