Commercial Insurance Agent

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Agent to join a team. This role is an excellent opportunity for a driven professional with a strong background in commercial insurance to contribute to a growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and servicing a book of business, as well as generating new business opportunities. This is a remote position, offering flexibility and the chance to work with a dynamic and supportive team.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $50,000 - $55,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Follow up on warm leads to quote and bind new business.
  • Service an existing book of business, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
  • Handle 95% Commercial Lines accounts, including General Liability, Workers' Compensation, Auto, and Property, with a focus on small to middle-market accounts.
  • Manage 5% Personal Lines accounts as needed.
  • Utilize agency management software for account management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team and agency principal to achieve business growth objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Designations: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Lines insurance is required. Candidates must have a proven ability to write new business.
  • Soft Skills: Self-motivated, sales-minded, fast-paced, and tech-savvy.
  • Work Environment: This is a fully remote position; candidates must be comfortable working independently and managing their time effectively.
