Salary

Job Description

  • Investigate, evaluate, and resolve complex personal lines casualty claims, including bodily injury, liability, and litigation matters.
  • Analyze coverage, determine liability, and assess damages.
  • Direct and manage independent adjusters, field investigators, legal counsel, and medical experts as needed.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the claims management system.
  • Communicate effectively with policyholders, claimants, attorneys, and internal departments.
  • Negotiate settlements within authority and recommend settlements outside authority.
  • Attend mediations, arbitrations, and trials as required.
  • Ensure compliance with company standards and state regulations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience handling personal lines casualty claims, including litigation.
  • Strong knowledge of insurance policies, legal concepts, and applicable state laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing claims across multiple jurisdictions is preferred.
  • Proficiency in claims management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Adjuster license required in applicable states.
