We’re currently seeking an experienced Senior Personal Lines Casualty Claims Manager (Adjuster) to join our high-performing claims team. This individual will oversee the full life cycle of complex personal lines casualty claims and serve as a technical expert and mentor.

 

Salary

Job Description

  • Manage a caseload of complex and high-exposure personal lines casualty claims, including bodily injury, liability disputes, and litigated files.
  • Conduct thorough investigations by collecting statements, reviewing police reports, and analyzing medical documentation.
  • Evaluate policy coverage and make timely and accurate liability and damages assessments.
  • Direct outside vendors including field adjusters, medical experts, and legal counsel.
  • Attend mediations, settlement conferences, and trials as needed.
  • Maintain detailed claim file documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior adjusters on technical claim handling and best practices.
  • Ensure timely and fair resolution of claims, while managing loss costs and maintaining service excellence.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience handling complex personal lines casualty claims, including litigation management.
  • Strong knowledge of personal auto and homeowners liability coverages and relevant legal environments.
  • Proven ability to independently manage high-severity claims from start to finish.
  • Experience working with defense counsel and attending mediations or trials.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote or hybrid environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; Adjuster’s license required in applicable states.
