Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager to join our growing team. This role has been created due to the expansion of our book of business, and we are looking for a dedicated professional to manage a diverse portfolio of middle-market accounts. This position offers a hybrid work schedule (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) and a competitive salary range of $80,000–$90,000 annually.

Responsibilities

As a Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager, you will:

  • Manage a book of business with approximately $800,000 in premium across 60 accounts, including education, auto dealerships, and golf courses.
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, and client communications to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Collaborate with the marketing department to support account retention and growth.
  • Provide expert guidance to clients on policy coverage, terms, and conditions.
  • Utilize Sagitta software to manage account information and documentation.
  • Maintain compliance with industry regulations and company standards.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A valid Property & Casualty (P&C) license.
  • 3–5 years of experience in commercial insurance, preferably with middle-market accounts.
  • Familiarity with industries such as education, auto dealerships, or golf courses is a plus.
  • Proficiency in using Sagitta or similar insurance management software.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • A client-focused mindset with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.

Day-to-Day

Your typical day will include:

  • Managing client accounts by processing renewals, endorsements, and addressing inquiries.
  • Quoting renewal business and ensuring timely delivery of proposals.
  • Communicating with clients to provide updates and resolve any issues.
  • Collaborating with internal teams, including the marketing department, to support account management.
  • Utilizing Sagitta software to maintain accurate records and documentation.
