Job Title: Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will act as a strategic partner to clients, providing exceptional customer service and managing a diverse portfolio of commercial insurance accounts. You will be responsible for ensuring the satisfaction and retention of clients, as well as developing and implementing customized solutions to meet their unique insurance needs. Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, providing expert advice and guidance.
- Build, maintain, and strengthen client relationships by delivering outstanding customer service and addressing client inquiries, concerns, and needs in a timely manner.
- Manage all aspects of the renewal process, including reviewing policies, identifying coverage gaps, negotiating terms with carriers, and presenting recommendations to clients.
- Collaborate with insurance carriers to obtain quotes, bind coverage, and ensure timely issuance of policies and endorsements.
- Assess clients’ risk exposures and propose customized insurance solutions that align with their business goals and objectives.
- Provide education to clients regarding policy language, coverage options, and claims processes to ensure clear understanding and informed decision-making.
- Monitor the insurance marketplace for changes or trends that may impact clients or present new opportunities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including documentation of client interactions, policies, and risk assessments, in the agency management system.
- Mentor and collaborate with junior team members, providing support and promoting a culture of continuous learning and growth.
Qualifications/Requirements
- A minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager or in a similar role within the insurance industry.
- Proven expertise in managing complex commercial insurance accounts and deep understanding of various lines of coverage, including property, liability, auto, and workers' compensation.
- Valid insurance license (Property and Casualty) required.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong client relationships and deliver exceptional customer service.
- Proficiency in agency management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong negotiation, problem-solving, and organizational skills, with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A proactive and self-motivated approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
