Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sr. Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, building and maintaining strong client relationships, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including renewals, endorsements, and new business opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
  • Collaborate with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide expert guidance and support.
  • Ensure all client accounts are serviced in accordance with company standards and industry regulations.
  • Work closely with internal teams to address client needs and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends and developments to provide proactive advice to clients.
  • Preparation of insurance proposals, quotations, and presentations for clients.
  • Provide technical expertise and support to junior account management staff.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager within the insurance industry.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, coverages, and underwriting processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong, professional client relationships.
  • Proficiency in insurance agency management systems and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
  • Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
