In 2021, after a year of great change in the economy and job market, they launched the new Career and Outplacement Services Division. The division offers career services like resume refreshers, LinkedIn optimizations, career coaching, and mock interviews to individuals. Companies experiencing restructuring or layoffs will be able to utilize the new Outplacement Services to save their employer brand and assist their exiting employees during the transitional period for a new job.

THE BEGINNING
Founded in 2012 by Peter Joniec and Gene Nussbaum
The Jonus Group is a premier, full-service search firm that specializes in staffing for the Insurance industry. Founded by industry veterans of 50 years, Peter Joniec and Gene Nussbaum started off as a 2-person team, but nearly doubled the size of the company each and every year after that. They focused on building a firm that can service the needs of just about any company within the insurance industry. The Jonus Group now covers the recruiting needs of carriers, agencies, wholesalers, TPAs, MGA, and MGUs on both the property & casualty and employee benefits sides of the business.
EXPANSION

The Jonus Group has expanded both geographically and from a service perspective to better serve their clients across the board. As the company grew, so did their vision on what they could do for the insurance industry. Originally, they only recruited in the Mid-Atlantic states. However, they realized that in order to truly take care of the hiring needs for larger, national companies, they needed to extend their reach. Ultimately, they expanded their reach from coast-to-coast and continuously increase the number of jobs they fill each year.
But they didn’t stop there.
Despite an early focus on direct hire, they created a contract hire division in 2017, which helped fill both temporary and temp-to-hire positions. They also created a Recent Grad Program, partnering with colleges and universities to help guide recent graduates to the insurance industry.
