Commercial Insurance Account Manager/CSR

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Commercial Insurance Account Manager/Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a team. The ideal candidate will provide outstanding service to clients by managing accounts, assisting with renewals, and addressing client inquiries. This position requires excellent organizational skills, a client-focused mindset, and the ability to work collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Assist in preparing and processing renewal documents, quotes, and endorsements for commercial insurance policies.
  • Support the sales team by identifying client needs and suggesting appropriate insurance solutions.
  • Manage policy changes, cancellations, billing inquiries, and other customer service tasks.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date account information in the system.
  • Collaborate with underwriters, carriers, and other team members to provide seamless client support.
  • Educate clients about available coverage options and changes to policy terms.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations in the insurance industry.
  • Actively participate in company meetings, training, and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Assistant, Customer Service Representative, or similar role in commercial insurance.
  • Strong understanding of commercial insurance concepts, policies, and procedures.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain complex information to clients and team members.
  • Proficient in using insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
