Commercial Lines Account Manager/Producer
Job Summary
Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager/Producer to join a growing team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in an underserved market, providing tailored insurance solutions to a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in quoting, client management, carrier relationships, and negotiating, with a proven ability to manage and grow a book of business.
Compensation Package
- Base Salary: $80,000 annually
- Commission: 40% on new business, transitioning to 40%/30% after validation
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance
- Work Arrangement: Hybrid model (3 days in-office, 2 days remote) after training
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow a diverse portfolio of accounts, including contractors, property, non-profits, and service industries with account sizes ranging from $20,000 to $500,000.
- Quote new and renewal business, ensuring competitive and comprehensive coverage for clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers to negotiate favorable terms and conditions.
- Provide exceptional client service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance coverage.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure seamless account management and client satisfaction.
- Utilize AMS360 software for account management and documentation.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance, with a focus on quoting, client management, and carrier relationships.
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
- Proven ability to manage and grow a book of business, with a focus on underserved markets.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with a client-centric approach.
- Proficiency in AMS360 or similar agency management software.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
