Commercial Line Insurance Agent

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Line Insurance Agent to join a team. This role is ideal for a motivated individual with a strong background in commercial lines production who thrives in a collaborative and supportive work environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving new business growth, maintaining client relationships, and providing exceptional service to valued customers.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 annually (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct commercial outbound calls to generate new business opportunities.
  • Work with agency-generated and purchased commercial data leads.
  • Actively pursue and secure new business opportunities.
  • Handle service work for both Personal Lines and Commercial Lines, including answering incoming calls, managing referrals, and supporting general office needs.
  • Assist with cross-selling and follow up on in-office leads.
  • Utilize software for sourcing and tracking prospects.
  • Quote new and renewal business as needed.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure excellent customer service and operational efficiency.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses:
    • Property & Casualty (P&C) license in Oregon is required.
    • Life & Health (L&H) license is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in commercial lines production.
    • Proven track record of producing and providing excellent service.
  • Skills:
    • Strong work ethic and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
    • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
    • Proficiency in using sales and agency management software (training will be provided if needed).
