Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CL CSR)

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CL CSR) to join a small, family-run agency. This role is integral to the focus on client retention and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, a passion for customer service, and the ability to manage a mix of service and sales responsibilities. Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually
  • Commissions:
    • New Business: 45%
    • Renewals: 20%
  • Benefits:
    • Group Health Insurance: $300 monthly company contribution

    • Simple IRA: Available after 1 year with up to 3% company match
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid work model available after training (3 days in-office, 2 days remote)

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, focusing on retention and satisfaction.
  • Manage a portfolio of small to medium commercial accounts, including government contracts, technology, contractors, main street businesses, and non-profits.
  • Handle both new and renewal business quoting, with account sizes averaging $35,000 - $50,000.
  • Balance daily responsibilities with 85% service and 15% sales, including warm leads and organic sales opportunities.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Utilize QQ Catalyst software for account management and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license is required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial insurance, preferably within an agency setting.
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and services.
  • Proficiency in using QQ Catalyst or similar insurance software is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to providing outstanding customer service and building long-term client relationships.
