Job Summary

Seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Insurance Producer to join a team. This role is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven professional to specialize in trucking and commercial auto insurance, including General Liability (GL), Workers' Compensation (WC), and Business Owners Policies (BOP). The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a proven track record in building and managing a successful book of business. This is a full-time, in-office position with significant growth potential and a clear path to earning performance-based bonuses.

Responsibilities

Develop and grow a book of business specializing in trucking and commercial auto insurance
Generate a minimum of $150,000 in premium annually, with opportunities to exceed this target
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional service and tailored insurance solutions
Collaborate with account managers and administrative support to ensure seamless client service
Quote and renew policies, focusing on middle-market to large-market accounts
Stay informed on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to provide clients with the most up-to-date advice

Qualifications/Requirements

Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
Minimum of 1+ years of experience in commercial auto/trucking insurance, including familiarity with CMC numbers, dump trucks, and semi-trucks
Proven ability to produce and manage a book of business
Proficiency with insurance software, preferably Nowcertz
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
