Commercial Lines Account Executive

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a team. This role is integral to the organization, focusing on managing mid-market accounts, handling renewals, cross-selling, and providing exceptional service to the valued clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial lines insurance, excellent interpersonal skills, and a proven ability to build and maintain client relationships.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $60,000 - $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of mid-market accounts, including hotels, contractors, generalists, and a large manufacturing client.
  • Handle account renewals, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for clients.
  • Cross-sell and up-sell insurance products to meet client needs and expand business opportunities.
  • Provide personalized service to clients, building strong relationships and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Manage "house accounts" and guide clients through the renewal process.
  • Collaborate with carriers such as Westfield, Travelers, CNA, Western Reserve, and Liberty Mutual.
  • Utilize AMS360 software for account management and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2+ years as a Senior Account Manager or Account Executive handling renewals. Preference for candidates with 3+ years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS360 software is required.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Personable and client-focused.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to effectively cross-sell and up-sell products.
    • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
    • Comfortable managing client relationships and providing tailored solutions.
  • Other Requirements:
    • Stable work history (no frequent job changes).
    • Ability to pass a background check.
    • Willingness to complete a 30-60 day training period.
