Commercial Lines Account Executive

Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join a growing team.

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $75,000 – $125,000 (commensurate with experience) + bonus opportunities

Responsibilities

  • Manage and service a generalist commercial lines book of business.
  • Handle policy changes, endorsements, renewal preparation, and marketing.
  • Provide exceptional client support, including addressing inquiries and claims assistance.
  • Develop and implement workflows and standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the Commercial Lines team.
  • Train and mentor junior team members, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
  • Build strong relationships with carriers, including Westfield, Cincinnati, Travelers, Auto-Owners, and others.
  • Contribute to the evolution of the Commercial Lines department, with potential to transition into a leadership role.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Property & Casualty (P&C) License required; additional designations are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years managing a Commercial Lines book of business.
    • Proven ability to service and market mid-to-large accounts.
  • Skills:
    • Strong customer service orientation with excellent time management and prioritization skills.
    • Positive, self-starter personality with leadership ambitions.
    • Ability to train and mentor junior team members effectively.
    • Collaborative mindset with a focus on teamwork and partnership.
    • Teamwork and collaboration.
    • Ability to work well under pressure.
