Job Summary
Seeking a talented and driven Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. The Account Manager will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, negotiating terms and conditions, and identifying new business opportunities within the commercial insurance sector.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for commercial clients, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring their insurance needs are met
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance carriers and underwriters to negotiate terms, coverage, and pricing
- Prepare and present insurance proposals and recommendations to clients, outlining coverage options and risk management strategies
- Provide guidance and support to clients throughout the claims process, ensuring efficient and timely resolution
- Identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities within the existing client base
- Stay current on industry trends and regulations to effectively advise clients on risk management and coverage options
Qualifications/Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial insurance or a similar role, with a focus on account management and client retention
- In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, underwriting processes, and risk management strategies
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and insurance partners
- Proficiency in insurance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently manage a diverse portfolio of clients
