Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a team. This role involves managing a full book of business, providing exceptional service to clients, and supporting the growth of the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial insurance, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a predominantly remote environment.
Compensation Package
- Salary: $70,000 - $80,000 annually+ (depending on experience)

- Remote work setup with provided equipment
- Onsite meetings approximately 8 times per year
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business, handling accounts ranging from $5,000 to $500,000.
- Provide claims and payment assistance to clients.
- Conduct policy renewals, coverage reviews, pricing, and delivery.
- Support new business sales, including sourcing, quote preparation, and presentation.
- Prepare ACORD and application forms.
- Handle inbound and outbound sales and service phone calls.
- Maintain and update data in the Applied Systems Epic agency management system.
- Collaborate with MGAs and underwriters to ensure efficient account management.
- Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel for daily tasks.
- Adapt to new responsibilities and learn new skills as needed.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience:
- Minimum of 5 years in commercial insurance account management.
- Experience with surplus lines is essential.
- Proficiency in Applied Systems Epic is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

- Personable and approachable demeanor.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Work Environment:
- Remote work environment with occasional onsite meetings (approximately 8 times per year).
- Must be available for initial onsite training.
