Commercial Lines Account Manager

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join a growing team. This role is integral to the mission of building strong relationships with the clients and delivering exceptional service. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing small to mid-market accounts, a strong understanding of the insurance industry, and a commitment to integrity and continuous learning. This is a hybrid position, offering a balance of in-office and remote work.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: $65,000 - $70,000 annually

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business totaling over $3 million in premium, divided alphabetically among team members.
  • Quote new and renewal business, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Handle a variety of accounts, including manufacturing, clubs, country clubs, and other industries.
  • Collaborate with team members in a flexible environment to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Utilize AMS 360 software to manage accounts and maintain accurate records.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and carriers, including Cincinnati, Travelers, Grange, Liberty Mutual, Progressive, Chubb, and Hartford.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required; additional designations are a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role managing commercial lines accounts.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in AMS 360 software is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Strong integrity, a willingness to learn, and a collaborative mindset are essential.
  • Location: Must be based in Ohio, with a preference for candidates in metro areas such as Cincinnati.
