Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing commercial accounts, excellent customer relationship management skills, and a deep understanding of insurance products.
Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of commercial accounts ranging from $0 to $500k+
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service
- Analyze client's insurance needs and recommend appropriate products and coverage
- Work closely with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and market changes to provide clients with informed advice
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify new business opportunities and support in the retention of existing clients
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Commercial Lines Account Manager with a deep understanding of commercial insurance products
- Familiarity with Commercial COB such as Condo/HOA and Habitational policies
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in industry-specific software and Microsoft Office suite
- Insurance industry certifications (e.g., CIC, CRM) preferred but not required
Day-to-day
- Engage with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions
- Communicate and negotiate with carriers and underwriters to secure competitive terms for clients
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective account management and customer satisfaction
- Stay updated on industry developments and market trends to provide the best advice and products to clients
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation in compliance with industry regulations
