Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Commercial Lines Account Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing a book of commercial insurance business, ensuring exceptional service and building strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with commercial insurance clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries and providing support throughout the policy lifecycle
  • Collaborate with underwriters and carriers to negotiate terms, secure coverage, and optimize policy pricing
  • Stay informed of market trends and industry changes to effectively advise clients and enhance business development opportunities
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless client service delivery and satisfaction
  • Assist in the preparation of quotes, proposal presentations, and contract negotiations
  • Analyze policy coverage and identify areas for potential upsell or cross-sell opportunities
  • Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to junior team members as needed

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Previous independent agency/broker experience is required
  • 2-3+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial insurance products, policies, and regulations
  • Team player with the ability to collaborate and work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
  • Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficient in using CRM systems and Microsoft Office suite
  • Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license
  • Solid understanding of underwriting processes and risk analysis
  • A proven track record of consistent job tenure in previous roles is required
