Commercial Lines Account Manager
Job Summary
A professional opportunity is available for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to oversee and manage a portfolio of client accounts. This role involves independently servicing a book of business, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $60,000-$80,000 depending on experience.
- Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package, including 401(k)
- Travel: Occasional travel to visit local clients
Responsibilities
- Independently manage and service a portfolio of client accounts across various industries and account sizes.
- Handle both new and renewal business quotes.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and retention.
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to address client needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Conduct client meetings, both in-person and virtually, to discuss account updates and address concerns.
- Stay informed about industry trends and best practices to provide strategic advice to clients.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience independently managing a book of business in a client-facing role.
- Proven ability to handle accounts of varying sizes and industries.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while maintaining a high level of independence.
- Familiarity with quoting processes for both new and renewal business.
- Holds an active P&C (Property and Casualty) insurance license.
- Availability for occasional travel to meet with local clients.
