Job Summary
A growing independent agency is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Account Manager. This role involves managing and servicing a diverse portfolio of commercial accounts, providing tailored insurance solutions, and collaborating closely with producers to drive client satisfaction and retention. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with producers to develop marketing strategies for both new and renewal business.
- Review client exposures, input applications into the agency management system, and prepare competitive insurance quotes.
- Assess client insurance needs and present appropriate coverage recommendations.
- Bind coverage and finance contracts, finalize quotes, prepare proposals, and coordinate timely invoicing.
- Issue Auto ID cards and renewal certificates in advance of policy expiration.
- Manage automatic renewals and confirm policy accuracy.
- Oversee policy issuance, conduct policy checks, and generate policy summaries.
- Handle a book of business primarily composed of mid-to-large commercial accounts, including generalist accounts with some specialized industry exposure.
- Maintain a balanced workload with a focus on both new business and renewals.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Licenses/Certifications: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
- Experience: 3-5+ years of relevant experience in commercial lines account management.
- Software Proficiency: Applied Epic experience preferred.
