Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative – Small Business
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative – Small Business to join a team. This role is integral in supporting the agency sales team and ensuring the seamless management of small business renewals. Compensation Package
- Compensation: Hourly rate equivalent to an annual salary of approximately $57,000 to $63,000, based on experience and qualifications.
Responsibilities
As a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative – Small Business, your key responsibilities will include:

Servicing the Commercial Lines Book of Business:
- Processing endorsements, billing, and payments.
- Handling claims and creating new/renewal business submissions.
- Ordering loss runs, experience modifiers, and assisting with supplemental applications.
- Issuing certificates, evidence of insurance, auto ID cards, and binders.
- Checking and mailing out policies, creating proposals, and tracking cancellations and audits.
- Managing bonds and other related tasks.

Renewal Management:
- Optimizing small business renewals by managing the renewal process and maintaining strong client relationships.

Remarketing:
- Identifying and executing remarketing opportunities for clients.

Quoting Account Rounds:
- Providing quotes for existing commercial lines business.

Staying Updated:
- Keeping up-to-date with carrier updates and underwriting information to ensure compliance and accuracy.
Qualifications/Requirements
To be successful in this role, candidates should meet the following qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in commercial lines insurance (preferred).
- Proficiency in EPIC software is a plus but not required.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
