Commercial Lines Producer

Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and motivated Commercial Lines Producer to contribute to the growth and success of a well-established, family-owned insurance agency. This role offers the opportunity to manage and grow a book of business, with a focus on obtaining new clients and handling renewals. The agency specializes in a variety of accounts, including construction, retail, restaurants, churches, and manufacturing.

Compensation Package

• Base Salary: $50,000 - $60,000 + commissions
• Benefits: Comprehensive benefits package offered

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic plan to build and grow a book of business
• Identify and secure new commercial accounts across various industries
• Manage and renew existing accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention
• Quote new and renewal business in a timely and efficient manner
• Collaborate with agency partners and team members to achieve business objectives

Qualifications/Requirements

• Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license
• Minimum of 2 years of experience
• Strong knowledge of industries such as construction, retail, restaurants, churches, and manufacturing
• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a plan for building a book of business
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Familiarity with insurance software and tools is preferred
• Willingness to travel locally and work in-office as required
