Job Title: Commercial Lines New Business Specialist
Job Summary:
The Commercial Lines New Business Specialist will focus on marketing and quoting small commercial accounts, with a strong emphasis on Business Owner’s Policies (BOPs). This role is responsible for facilitating new business opportunities by working collaboratively with producers and engaging directly with prospective clients and carriers. The ideal candidate brings a proactive, outgoing approach to building relationships and supporting growth across the region.
Responsibilities:
- Market and quote new small commercial lines business, with a focus on BOPs
- Collaborate with producers across multiple regions to support sales efforts
- Communicate with prospective clients to assess insurance needs and gather necessary information
- Interface with carriers to obtain competitive quotes and coverage options
- Ensure all new business submissions are handled accurately and efficiently
- Maintain organized records of prospects, quotes, and communications throughout the sales process
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Active Property & Casualty (P&C) License required
- 2+ years of experience in commercial lines insurance, preferably focused on new business
- Familiarity with small commercial accounts and BOPs
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and comfort interacting with producers, clients, and carriers
- Ability to manage multiple new business opportunities in a fast-paced environment
- Customer-focused mindset with a proactive and outgoing approach
Compensation Package:
- Compensation: Between $70K-$78K (based on experience).
