Commercial Insurance Producer

Job Summary

Compensation Package

  • Base Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
  • Commission Structure:
    • Year 1: 20% new business, 30% renewal
    • Year 3: 40% new business, 30% renewal
  • 401(k) Plan: Competitive

Responsibilities

  • Identify and prospect potential clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking, and referrals.
  • Educate clients on insurance options, assess their unique needs, and recommend tailored coverage solutions.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets, including sales revenue, conversion rates, and policy renewals.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including underwriters, claims processors, and customer support, to deliver a seamless customer experience.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and regulations to provide clients with up-to-date and relevant advice.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Property & Casualty (P&C) license required.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial insurance sales.
  • Proven sales acumen with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • Demonstrated stability in previous roles; candidates with a history of frequent job changes will not be considered.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment (in-office Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday; remote on Wednesday and Friday).
