Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a strategic business plan to generate new commercial insurance clients
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing outstanding customer service and meeting their insurance needs
• Analyze clients' risk management needs and design appropriate insurance solutions
• Collaborate with underwriters and other team members to negotiate terms and conditions for insurance policies
• Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes in the commercial insurance sector
• Meet or exceed sales targets and revenue goals

Qualifications

• Proven track record as a Commercial Lines Producer with a book of business of $500k+
• Strong understanding of commercial insurance products, policies, and industry regulations
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and underwriters
• Proficiency in using insurance industry software and CRM systems
• Relevant insurance licenses and certifications

Day-to-day

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and referrals
• Review and assess clients' insurance needs and provide tailored insurance solutions
• Communicate with clients to ensure their satisfaction and address any concerns or questions
• Collaborate with internal teams to prepare and present insurance proposals to clients
• Stay up-to-date on industry news, market trends, and changes in insurance products and regulations
