Responsibilities

• Cultivate and maintain relationships with commercial clients, providing exceptional customer service and addressing their insurance needs
• Generate new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and attending industry events
• Collaborate with underwriting assistants and account managers to prepare and submit commercial insurance applications and proposals
• Analyze clients' risk exposures and provide tailored insurance solutions
• Stay current with market trends, insurance products, and underwriting guidelines to best serve the needs of clients
• Work closely with the commercial insurance team to achieve departmental goals and objectives

Qualifications

• Proven experience in commercial insurance, with a focus on business development and client relationship management
• Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products, coverages, and industry regulations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in industry software and CRM systems
• A valid insurance producer license
