Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Team Lead to join a growing team. The successful candidate will oversee a diverse portfolio of middle-market accounts, including hospitality, commercial real estate, multi-unit habitational, construction, professional liability, and retail. Compensation Package

  • Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of commercial account managers, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment
  • Manage a portfolio of middle-market commercial accounts, including General Liability, Property, Auto, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, and Professional Liability policies
  • Prepare proposals, review coverages, and assist clients with claims as needed
  • Maintain accurate documentation in the agency management system (AMS360)
  • Ensure compliance with agency standards and industry regulations
  • Provide exceptional customer service and build strong client relationships
  • Support the agency’s growth by aligning with its core values and goals

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in commercial account management
    • Preferred experience in team leadership, mentoring, or training (insurance industry experience is not mandatory but is a plus)
  • Licenses: Active Property & Casualty (P&C) license required
  • Skills:
    • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance coverages
    • Proficiency in AMS360 or similar agency management systems
    • Resourceful, motivated, and tech-savvy
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
