Personal Lines/Commercial Lines CSR

Job Summary

Seeking a dedicated and experienced Personal Lines/Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative (CSR) to join a growing team. This role is essential in supporting the service team by managing a variety of accounts, including small commercial, home, and auto insurance policies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in insurance, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation Package

  • Salary: Starting at $50,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Account Management:
    • Handle a book of business valued at $8M+ with approximately 1,400 policies.
    • Service accounts ranging in size from $500 to $50,000.
  • Policy Servicing:
    • Manage 90% renewal servicing, including rounding accounts.
    • Handle 10% new business quoting.
  • Client Interaction:
    • Provide exceptional customer service to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction.
  • Administrative Tasks:
    • Utilize software tools such as EZ Lynx, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel to manage accounts and documentation.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses: Active New York State insurance license is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in EZ Lynx, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Work Ethic: Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
