Job Summary

As an Employee Benefits Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with the clients regarding their employee benefits packages. You will work closely with the clients to understand their needs and provide them with comprehensive employee benefits solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships by being the primary point of contact for all employee benefits inquiries and requests
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess their needs and provide strategic guidance on benefit offerings
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop customized employee benefits packages that align with clients' needs and budgets
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and changes in benefit regulations to provide informed advice to clients
  • Monitor and track client satisfaction to ensure ongoing retention and growth of accounts
  • Drive new business development through proactive outreach and networking efforts

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive or similar role, with a focus on employee benefits
  • 4+ years of relevant insurance industry experience preferred
  • Strong understanding of employee benefits products and services
  • Previous mid- to large-market and large group experience
  • Previous fully-funded and self-funded experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
  • Knowledge of benefit regulations and compliance
  • Holds an active L&H (Life and Health) insurance license
