Employee Benefits Account Executive

Job Summary

Seeking a highly skilled and motivated Employee Benefits Account Executive to join our dynamic and collaborative team. This role offers the unique opportunity to take over an established book of business from senior leadership, working with middle-market clients on fully insured accounts. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in employee benefits, a client-focused mindset, and a passion for delivering exceptional service. This position is hybrid, requiring 1-2 days per week in the office.

Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000+ (commensurate with experience)

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business consisting of 10+ middle-market groups (100-500 lives).
  • Provide end-to-end client servicing, including renewals, proposals, and client-facing interactions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care.
  • Utilize industry software such as Employee Navigator, Benefit Point, and ZyWave to manage accounts effectively.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure client satisfaction.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licenses/Certifications: Active Life & Health (L&H) license required.
  • Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in employee benefits, with a strong background in managing middle-market, fully insured accounts.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Employee Navigator, Benefit Point, and ZyWave is preferred.
  • Soft Skills: Upbeat, professional, motivated, kind, and friendly demeanor.
  • Work Arrangement: Hybrid role with 1-2 days per week in the office.
