Compensation Package

  • Salary Range: $90,000 - $110,000 annually
  • Retention Bonus Program: $10,000 - $20,000

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of employee benefits accounts, with a focus on self-funded accounts (20% or more experience preferred).
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are proactively addressed.
  • Serve as a mentor and resource for less experienced team members, sharing knowledge and expertise.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver exceptional service and innovative solutions to clients.
  • Utilize software tools such as Benefit Zone and Employee Navigator (transitioning to Employee Navigator).
  • Actively engage in team-building activities and contribute to a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Licensure: Life and Health (L&H) license required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5+ years in employee benefits account management, with a preference for candidates with self-funded account experience.
  • Skills:
    • Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
    • Proactive and inquisitive mindset, with a focus on client satisfaction.
    • Outgoing personality with a passion for mentoring and teaching others.
    • Ability to work autonomously and thrive in a smaller, collaborative team environment.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with Benefit Zone and/or Employee Navigator preferred.
