Employee Benefits Account Manager (EBAM)
Job Summary
Seeking a dedicated and experienced Employee Benefits Account Manager (EBAM) to join a growing team.
Compensation Package
- Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 (higher compensation may be considered for exceptional candidates)
- 401(k)
Responsibilities
- Manage a book of business consisting of approximately 40 groups, ranging in size from 10-75 lives (average 20-50 lives).
- Handle day-to-day servicing needs, including preparing spreadsheets, building presentations, and assisting with renewals.
- Collaborate with brokers during client meetings and presentations, occasionally presenting to small groups.
- Quote new and renewal business as part of a balanced workload.
- Utilize software tools such as BenefitPoint and Employee Navigator to manage accounts effectively.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in a similar role within the employee benefits industry. Self-funded experience is preferred.
- Licenses/Designations: L7H license required.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in BenefitPoint and Employee Navigator software.
- Soft Skills: Friendly, responsible, team-oriented, and self-motivated.
- Education: Relevant educational background or equivalent professional experience.
- Travel: Local travel may be required for client presentations.
